Earlier, we received a request for a family in need of assistance. Here is a brief description of their situation:

Esther (the mother) is 44 years old, and her daughter is 11. Her daughter has been suffering from Pantothenate Kinase-Associated Neurodegeneration (PKAN) for the past five years. The couple used to work in Singapore, where they owned a home and a clothing store. However, due to their daughter’s condition, which requires long-term care and expensive medical treatments, they had no choice but to sell their home and business and relocate to Kuala Lumpur. 😔

Esther currently has no income, while her husband earns a living by driving for Grab. They are now living in his sister’s house, paying a monthly rent of RM500. Their biggest challenge is providing for their daughter’s daily needs, particularly the special formula milk and diapers. As she cannot eat solid food, she relies solely on formula milk, which is fed every four hours. One pack of formula milk lasts only two days. Doctors have confirmed that her life expectancy is between 18 and 22 years.

Currently, their biggest expenses are formula milk and diapers. Our team has purchased some of the essential items to help support them. 😢

We would also like to reach out to everyone for support. This little girl is in urgent need of daily necessities and supplies. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

This competition is more than just a talent showcase—it’s a meaningful opportunity for visually impaired and disabled individuals to express themselves, integrate into society, and experience the warmth of community care. Our goal is to create a respectful and supportive stage where love and encouragement can be shared. ❤️

This Lunar New Year was filled with joy and kindness! 💖

On February 9, 2025 (Sunday), HUI Charity Organization and Angel’s Heart Association came together to host the “Spring Blessing Celebration” at KL Gateway Mall, sharing the festive spirit with individuals with disabilities. 🎊✨

During this heartwarming event, we welcomed 60 guests with disabilities to celebrate the Lunar New Year with us. To spread even more love, we prepared 60 festive gift bags, organized an exciting singing performance, and even arranged for haircuts for the elderly—ensuring that everyone felt cared for and included. The atmosphere was filled with happiness and laughter! ❤️

A huge thank you to all the Brother Hui and Sister Hui volunteers, as well as everyone who contributed their time, effort, and love to make this celebration so special. Your kindness and dedication made a difference in the lives of these wonderful individuals, creating unforgettable memories together. 💗

Yesterday, on December 13, 2024, I had the honor of leading a team of volunteers as the Chairman of Persatuan Kebajikan Amal HUI (HUI Charity Organization) to SJKC Kg Baru Semenyih, where we joined teachers, the principal, and students in a truly meaningful event. This initiative combined charity and environmental awareness, inspiring the entire school community—teachers, students, and parents—to actively participate in spreading the values of sustainability and love.

Over the past month, parents, students, school leaders, and HUI Charity volunteers worked together to collect recyclable materials. Yesterday, these items were recycled by the environmentally conscious company, Glow, and all proceeds were successfully donated to the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). This event was not just about protecting the environment but also about spreading kindness and strength.

A huge thank you goes to Organizing Chairman Jordan Lim and Chief Planner Venus Wong for their dedication and meticulous planning, ensuring every detail of this event was executed flawlessly. We are also deeply grateful to our sponsors who contributed backpacks, stationery, and gifts, bringing even more warmth and joy to the children. Their smiles and excitement were truly heartwarming!

Throughout the event, I was deeply moved by the enthusiasm of the students, the dedication of the teachers and principal, and the selfless efforts of our volunteers. A special thank you to each and every volunteer from HUI Charity Organization, who woke up early on a weekday to travel to Semenyih and make this event a success. Seeing everyone’s collective hard work and kindness was incredibly inspiring.

I truly believe that through this initiative, we have not only planted the seeds of environmental awareness in the hearts of these children but also instilled the spirit of charity. Hopefully, more young minds will grow up with the principle of “leading with love” and, in turn, help those in need in the future.
