With the continued care and support from Hui Charity Organization, Tiffany and her family have finally seen a turning point in their lives. Today, we officially delivered the promised financial aid of RM4,000, which covers living expenses, tutoring and preschool fees for her children, and essentials such as milk powder.

 

Even more uplifting, with encouragement from those around her, Ms. Tiffany has successfully secured a job—enabling her to cover her family’s daily needs and provide a more stable environment for her children’s growth.

 

Every step forward from hardship is backed by resilience and love.
We sincerely thank all the kind-hearted donors supporting Hui Charity, whose generosity allows us to provide real help at critical times.

On this scorching sunny afternoon, Hui Charity visited a family in deep distress.

 

The husband is missing and believed to be in Cambodia. A young mother is left alone to care for her two young children — a 9-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son who still requires formula milk. With no means to bear the burden of living and education expenses, the only “asset” this family owns is a car parked outside their home, which was rendered unusable after an accident. The mother currently has only RM7.50 in cash to her name.

 

We immediately provided them with basic groceries, formula milk, and canned food to relieve their urgent needs, and promised the following medium- to long-term assistance:

 

📌 Support Provided & Planned:

• 🔹 Monthly cash assistance of RM300 (for a duration of 6 months)
  🔹 Monthly supply of 6 packs of milk powder (1.5kg each, for a duration of 6 months)
  🔹 Assistance in paying kindergarten fees for the son — RM560 x 2 months = RM1120
  🔹 Coordinating whether the son’s kindergarten attendance should be temporarily paused until the situation stabilizes
  🔹 Engaging with the daughter’s primary school PTA to explore possible fee waivers or subsidies
  🔹 Helping to track the daughter’s tuition fee details, and considering support based on the findings
  🔹 Coordinating with the local State Assemblyman (YB) and municipal council to seek additional social aid — this follow-up is personally led by Hui Charity Chairman, Mr. Henry Lim

The event held last Sunday (23/3/2025) successfully came to a close!

 

This meaningful competition may have lacked the glamour of stage lighting and the allure of high prizes, but it was filled with genuine care and warmth. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers from “Hui” Charity Organization for taking the time to participate, offering companionship to every contestant, handing out water, providing meals, accompanying them into the competition venue, and even thoughtfully assisting them to the restroom or arranging transportation. Your kindness and attentiveness have made the world a little warmer.

 

Every effort made that day was deeply felt and appreciated by the contestants, audience, and organizers. We also extend our gratitude to the chairman of the co-organizing temple for personally expressing appreciation and recognizing the volunteers’ dedication and silent contributions throughout the event.

 

You are the warmest light of this event.
