With You. I See. — A Charity Run for Awareness and Inclusion

This “With You. I See.” charity run truly allowed more people to experience the daily challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. We are especially grateful to Mr. Low from Angel’s Heart Disabled Association, who, despite being visually impaired, shared with everyone how they navigate life without sight — it’s truly not easy and deeply inspiring .

We would also like to sincerely thank the Bodhi Home Orphanage for bringing their children to participate in this meaningful event, giving them the opportunity to develop empathy and better understand the difficulties faced by the visually impaired

Most of the charity funds raised from this event have been donated to both the Angel’s Heart Disabled Association and the Bodhi Home Orphanage. We at Hui Charity Organization truly hope our contribution can bring some help to them — and we look forward to continuing to support and reach out to more people in need in the future

With Love as Our Foundation, With Gratitude in Our Giving

This entire charity run began with a lady, Ms. Lee Mina, a member of Persatuan Kebajikan Amal HUI, who expressed her wish to organize a charity event. She proposed that we experience the life of visually impaired individuals in total darkness. We found the idea meaningful and decided to let her form her own organizing committee. Throughout the preparation, she has shown great independence—truly a young and capable leader. She successfully gathered her own core team, and it was touching to see how they stayed united and worked together to make this event happen.

This is not the first event organized by our charity association, but it is the first time I’ve witnessed a new member take on such a big responsibility—from planning, to forming a core team, to inspiring long-time members to actively participate and execute the entire project. This is exactly the kind of spirit I’ve been hoping to see. Under the leadership of Mina Lee, who serves as both the Organizing Chairperson and the newly appointed Chairperson of the Ipoh State Chapter, a truly loving team and heartwarming event have been created.

To me, I’m not looking for perfection. What I hope to see is new members contributing to charity work, taking responsibility, giving their all, and inspiring new volunteers to step forward—so that more people join us in spreading love to the communities and groups that need our care and support.

Watching participants hold each other’s hands, trusting one another despite the lack of vision, walking—or even running—forward together, was incredibly touching. Everyone’s exhaustion was washed away by the smiles on their faces. These smiles came from being surrounded by an atmosphere of love and kindness. In this positive energy, people of different races, different nationalities, different genders, and different backgrounds came together—running for goodness, walking for love.

At the end of the day, our charity association has only one goal: to do good. We don’t worry about whether we are “professional” or “experienced.” As long as you are in need, truly in need, we will help in whatever way we can. We don’t have wealthy backers or strong powerful supporters. What we have is us—a group of like-minded ordinary people who give what we can, whether it’s strength or money, simply because we love doing charity.

We would also like to express our gratitude to our supporting partners and this year’s new sponsors. Because of you, our event was truly a success. And of course, to all our dedicated members—our “Hui sisters” and “Hui brothers”—you are the real philanthropists. You ask for no fame, no rewards. You work silently behind the scenes. You are the ones who truly complete the event. When the sweat is wiped away and the fatigue is visible on your faces, your hearts are still smiling. Your contribution cannot be described by words—but we see it, and we are deeply grateful. Having all of you is truly a blessing. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
